We are excited to announce we have launched our "Spring Forward Together" campaign. Salem UMC is a place of worship, community, and support. To ensure we can thrive for years to come, we want to be transparent about our current financial journey. In recent years, despite our best efforts to cut costs and practice diligent stewardship, our expenses have consistently outpaced our income. Every year, we have had to "dip" into our Endowment Funds to bridge the gap. In 2025, we withdrew $24,733 from our reserves to make ends meet. The reality of rising costs has affected us all. In 2025 alone, our basic utilities—electric and propane—totaled $36,000, with another $10,000 for essential services like water, trash, and communications. To continue our mission in 2026, we have budgeted $144,000 for the dedicated staff who keep our ministries running.

How can we help?

Our goal for the "Spring Forward Together" campaign is to replace those funds so our safety net remains strong for future generations. We are asking our members for a once-a-year "Spring Forward Together" donation. By replenishing what was used last year, we ensure that Salem doesn't just survive—it thrives.

You can pick up a "Spring Forward Together" flyer at the Welcome Center for more information. To contribute to the campaign, you may choose one of the following:

• By Check: Please make checks payable to Salem UMC and write "Spring Forward Together" in the memo line.
• Online Giving: Scan the QR code found on the flyers or in the bulletin.
• Note for Online Giving: After scanning, please input your donation amount, select "Spring Forward Together" from the list,

then select "Just this once" and "Today."
