Giving at Salem United Methodist Church
There are many ways to give at Salem. We give with our service, using our gifts and talents to help those around us. We give by tithing and endowments, to pay our church bills and contribute to missions. While we continue to accept tithes and offerings as donations at Sunday services and through US Mail, Salem can also accept contributions through automatic deduction from a bank account.
When you give to Salem, there are several different envelopes in the box or categories that you can give to.
- The General Fund is for paying bills, salaries, worship and office materials.
- The Building Fund is for the Trustees to use to maintain our church building and the grounds around the church.
- The Special Offering is for the different missions that Salem supports.
- The Memorial Gift is for contributing in memory of a friend or family member. It is also a gift that you can leave to the church as an endowment in your will.
