Salem is constantly collecting food donations for the Manheim Central Food Pantry. We can only accept non-perishable foods that have not expired.

The Manheim Central Food Pantry is located on Gramby Street, adjacent to the church. The building was once our parsonage but now houses the food pantry. The food pantry office is located in the church.

Salem Family Ministry provides financial help to those in need within the Manheim Central School District. Assistance may be provided for needs relating to rent, utilities, medical, transportation, and housing. SFM has provided financial assistance to many households in the Manheim Central School District. For ways to serve or questions regarding assistance, please contact the director.

Every summer, Salem adults and youth go to the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky or Tennessee to repair homes, making them safer and warmer. Not only do team members learn construction skills, but they share and receive Christ’s love. We can make a difference and develop camaraderie, strengthening our Salem family.
